When using a sledgehammer, you should pay attention to the following points:
(1) The connection between the hammer head and the handle must be firm. If the hammer head and the hammer handle are loose, and the hammer handle has splits and cracks, it cannot be used. The wedge between the hammer head and the hammer handle in the installation hole is preferably a metal wedge, and the length of the wedge should not be greater than 2/3 of the depth of the installation hole.
(2) In order to have a certain elasticity when hitting, the middle of the handle at the top is slightly narrower than the end.
(3) When using the sledgehammer, you must pay attention to the front, back, left and right, up and down, and it is strictly forbidden to stand within the range of the sledgehammer, and it is not allowed to hit each other with the sledgehammer and the small hammer.
(4) The hammer head is not allowed to be quenched, cracks and burrs are not allowed, and the burrs and burrs should be trimmed in time.
The claw hammer can be used for knocking, hammering, and pulling nails, but the claw hammer should not be used for hammering larger workpieces. When nailing nails, the hammer head should strike the nail cap flatly, so that the nails enter the wood vertically. When pulling out the nails, it is advisable to place a block of wood at the horn to enhance the pulling force. The horn hammer should not be used as a pry tool, and attention should be paid to hammering. The surface is flat and intact to prevent the nails from flying out or the hammer slipping off and hurting people.
